MID EAST NO SURPRISES

I have posted this before but it still is interesting.

Note the date of the article. He got most of the predictions right.

Foolish Thoughts

By Ben Stein on 4.1.11 @ 10:02AM

Herewith a few no doubt foolish thoughts about President Barack H. Obama's Middle East policy:

1.) First, it doesn't make any sense. President Barack H. Obama's close friend and apologist, Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts (D) wrote a week ago in the Wall Street Journal to the effect that one of our main goals in helping to oust our longtime ally, Hosni Mubarak, in Egypt, and our nutty "friend," Moammar Gaddafi in Libya was to get the Egyptian and Libyan people good jobs.

Yes. I am not making this up. Surely, this must be the first time in human history that one nation bombed the hell out of a much smaller, weaker nation to get the people there jobs. And anyway, how are we going to get those poor people jobs? How can a cruise missile get people good jobs (except maybe cleaning up the rubble)? And if Mr. Barack H. Obama and Senator Kerry know how to get "good jobs" for the people of Libya , maybe they could use that knowhow to get jobs for the roughly 15.5 million Americans who are unemployed.
When I think that we have gone to war with rationales like that one, I really want to just find a cave and hide in it until Mr. Obama goes away.

2.) It is now cruelly apparent that the Egyptian Revolution has not gone as well as we might have hoped. Islamic law, enforced by the military, is taking hold in Egypt . The poor beleaguered Copts, who made a show of solidarity with the demonstrators, are an endangered species. Businessmen are put on trial just for being successful.

Protest itself is now illegal. Women who protest are raped or hauled off for involuntary virginity testing. (I am not making this up. It was in Nick Kristof's column in the New York Times. He has a wicked sense of humor, but this does not sound like a gag.) Professors who do not endorse the Moslem Brotherhood are threatened with summary killing. (By the way, this does not bother Mr. Kristof much, if I read him right. It's "messy" and no more.)
And this was supposed to be a revolution that ushered in a rule of democracy and human rights.

The Moslem Brotherhood of Egypt, sworn to destroy Israel , hand in glove with Hamas, proponent of Shariah law worldwide, is poised to take over the whole country and put it on a war footing with Israel .

This Revolution (as I respectfully predicted) is turning into exactly the kind of nightmare that the Iranian "Revolution" against the Shah became: the replacement of a fairly mild tyranny with a brutal, violently reactionary Moslem terror state. The amazing part is that this was coming as plainly as a freight train barreling down the track.

Mr. Barack H. Obama ignored it, and pushed for Mubarak's ouster. Now, instead of a friend in Egypt , we have a bitter enemy -- armed with superb U.S. made weapons.

3.) The exact same thing is happening in Libya . Certainly Col. Gaddafi is a wild man. But we don't even know who the rebels are. The Israelis, who have a life or death interest in knowing these things, say the al Qaeda is a big part of the rebellion. The Moslem Brotherhood is another big part.

So, we are attacking Col. Gadafhi -- again, a crazy man -- on behalf of people who may well be far more dangerous to us than Gaddafi was in the last ten years. Surely this must be the first time we have ever gone to war for total strangers.

Of course, Libya will end up dominated by the Islamists, because that's how all Moslem countries in the Middle East wind up when there is a rebellion. That's as predictable as gravity. They are organized, smart, and fearless. Our present leadership is confused, confused, and confused. They are run by patient, cunning tough guys. We are run by Hillary Clinton. You get the picture?

4.) Interestingly enough, while we literally go to war to oust Col. Gaddafi, who is no threat to anyone outside Libya , we do not lift one finger to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons or to change the regime in Syria which is unremittingly hostile to us and always has been. If we have all these great, accurate Tomahawk missiles, why don't we blow up the Iranian nuclear bomb making sites? Why are the evil allies, Iran and Syria , immune to our righteous anger as they slaughter their own people, while crazy clown-like Gaddafi gets hammered? Could it be that Mr. Barack H. Obama is afraid of Syria and Iran ? And if he's terrified of Ahmadinejad now, what's it going to be like when Iran is a nuclear power?

Or is Mr. Barack H. Obama secretly sympathetic to Iran and Syria ? Is there some wicked connection between the Assad/Ahmadinejad axis and the Minister Farrakhan/ black Muslims of Chicago world? And from them to the President? One hears such things, but they are too upsetting to be believed.

And yet, and yet. Why will Mr. Obama act to save the citizens of Libya (or so he says) and do nothing for the people of Iran -- who actually like us?

5.) As far as I can tell, the Islamists now basically have a heck of a lot more than they did on 9/11. They have a giant new pal, Egypt . They may soon have Afghanistan again. They will probably soon have Libya . The war in Iraq is far from over. And now there are rumbles from Algeria and Morocco . Gaza used to be Israel . Now, it's Hamasland. The Moslem radicals have figured us out: if they pretend to be democrats, we stand back and let them take over -- and even help them. Then when they show their true colors, it's too late. They are on the march in Saudi Arabia and Yemen and Bahrain , all extremely important to us.

If Saudi Arabia is taken over by the Islamic radicals, it's a world class catastrophe and yet every sign is that Mr. Obama will not help our pals there when push comes to shove. This is getting truly terrifying.

Two questions:
Whose side is Mr. Obama on?

Where is Richard Nixon when we need him?

This man, as our POTUS, didn't bow down to anybody. He mighta been a crook, but he was our crook.

FOLLOW THE MONEY

Problems in the world are easier to understand if you reduce it all down to some basic dynamics.

While we're talking about money I remembered the triad of motivation and I tried in my clumsy crayon-on-paper-bag way to illustrate that.

SEX___________MONEY

My art director took some time away from earning a living to accommodate me some art. I like it.

artwork by Philistine Copywrite limitations exist.

Every time you use the pic you owe me ten bucks.

Anyway, the explanation for most all of the troubles of our world today is money. Moola. Spondooli.

Don't believe me? Set aside your Republican/Democrat filter, your white-black-yellow-hispanic-gay-straight-whatever filters. Look at the political scene in this country. Look to the world stage where governments are not so much toppling as they are sliding down in a heap. The Mid East, rattling nukes around but think: oil. Analyze any situation in terms of money.

You wanna know what politicians and business leaders and environmental activists and the MSM and ________ rights groups and sports and PETA and churches and ... and ... &cetera are doing and why?

FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Dead simple. Any two of the three will get the other. Any one of the three will help getting the others.

That's just from pols and business leaders. Factor in the drug money and other illegal commerce and you get a pretty clear picture of who's zooming who.

Drug money:

Buddy, can you spare me a dime? The honest ones will beg; the dishonest will steal.

I call your attention to the script lower left. Take due notice and govern yourselves accordingly.

A TIME FOR EVERY THING

Once and a while I have to stop fussing and fretting about things over which I have no control. Which is pretty much everything going on around me. There is a center of the universe ... and it ain't me. Some folks are frightened by this notion. Yes, it is daunting but what it does is, it humbles me. And allows me some peace of mind. Shucks, I have serenity for moments at a time.

God, grant me

the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the Courage to change the things I can,

and the Wisdom to know the difference.

Ecclesiastes
OR, THE PREACHER
3

1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2
a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3
a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4
a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6
a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7
a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8
a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9
What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth?
10
I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
12
I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
13
And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.
14
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
15
That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
16
And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17
I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18
I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19
For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20
All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
21
Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
22
Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

TEX-AMERICAN MUSIC 2014

Vukdawg has suggested some music. Now, you gotta understand when this warrior "suggests" something compliance is the only response. The Spillers of Soup is a name which instills fear among war clans and legend has it that Vukdawg has disembowelled tardy waitresses and set fire to vehicles with boom boxes blaring execrable music as they are driving down the freeway. He neither admits nor denies any such rumors.

Wilst eschewing the accordion and attendant polka music, he nevertheless demonstrates good taste in music. He causes his father to be proud. Enough of pleasantries. Here is the music. If you do not like it, send us your name and address. We will arrange for personal coaching.

My clan does not play. When they like you they stare at you with cold, mean, dead expressions. When they don't like you they just get up and leave without saying a word. Very dpjk.

That’s Don’t Play, Just  Kill.

I KNOW WHERE THEY WENT

This post comes as a public service to those of us still free from the thrall. It may offer some explanation for all the screwy stuff going on today in the world. Give you something to ponder or to laugh at while I think of something worthwhile to say. Er, that might take some time.

We got the planet warming up or cooling down, polar bears dying as they have been doing for centuries; the Sun flaring up and sending electro-magnetic waves out all over the place. Planets being so big it takes more effort to manipulate 'em, but it can be done.

The people, that is a huge indicator. I guess folks have acted weird for centuries but nobody thought it was extraordinary and nobody wrote anything down about it. Until Recently. Now we have missing birth certificates, non-existent college records, a vacuous VP; folks acting as if possessed. There is some dame claims Indian heritage, probably the closest she ever came to that was listening to this:

Who do you suppose is behind all these anomalies? There are many things we cannot explain if we stay in the flat-earth mentality.

People have gone "missing":

Hoffa, Hendrix, Elvis, Jim Morrison, Houdini, the list goes on. All mysteriously "disappeared". The party line says they died. Sure. Vanished is more like it. How? Where to? Why? These queries will be addressed here and now.

One has to know how to search.

Back in the day, certain government agencies (I'm not at liberty to name names but you can look to the alphabet for clues) became uncomfortable when some popular figures gained too much power and influence over an otherwise docile citizenry.  Not having the capability to handle such things with any finesse (think: that mess on the grassy knoll) they enlisted the aid of other-worlders by opening gateways, or portals, to alternate dimensions.

Hence we have entities like Zelda all too eager to divert the target individuals

These other-worlders often take the form of normal regular everyday Joes but a discerning eye and a garage door opener will soon find them out. BTW they are allergic to magnets. I have taken to wearing a belt buckle that is a strong magnet.

I know, I know, you think I am ranting about conspiracies but, boys and girls, all I am doing is shedding light on some dark and obscure moments in our nation's past. Your neighbors have moved ... oh, have they? You don't see that girl you had a crush on in high school? Hmm, wonder where she went? (I don't).

Look to the stars. Look to the planet Marduk.

Soon all of us must start wearing foil-lined headgear or we may fall under the thrall of Those From Elsewhere.

Protective yet fashionable, Philistine recommends something like this. He oughta know, he is an Art Director.

AMBIENT STRAYS

I am picking up vibes of disturbance.  Our world is made up of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen in varied configurations. All that stuff is held together by electrical energy in force fields. Radio waves from outside our planet are disrupting these fields. We try to blame the sun; some claim it is global climate change. They are in denial. You ever wonder why an FM radio has static? Why you cannot program your TV remote? Those batteries you have on the shelf? They aren't losing their charge all by themselves.

I have seen much and I say little:

I was out running errands, in the line at Walmart for meds. Behind me comes this guy, looked like he was on a Polack bowling team. Mid-forties, wouldn't know matching colors if it bit him in the butt.
"Whassatcha got?" He asks, pointing to the cafe curtain rod I'm holding.
I spoke not a word, showed him.
"Oh" he sez, "thought it was one a them canes. My buddy has one with four feet".
"Yes, when we get older we lose equilibrium." I said (my mistake).
"Oh" he sez, "I lost my equilibrium when I had that aneurism, back in '97."
"You're lucky to be alive" sez I.
"I dunno, I'm waiting for them to come get me. Y'know, go up into space".
"I'm five foot ten." I said with finality, "you won't need any money up there."
He nodded sagely and I saw behind his eyes he'll be chewing on that for a while.
The art of conversation, one of my strong suits.

There is a pre-meditated and discernible attack on us using radio waves. If you are not protected you will fall under the thrall.

Tin foil blocks 'em.

MANLIER MEN

I was recently sent a link to a website all about manly men. Spillers of Soup wannabes in my opinion.

If you want to know about real manly men, you should check out these guys. Heck, even Wikipedia knows about 'em:

Big Joe Mufferaw

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Statue of Mufferaw in Mattawa Ontario. Life size.

Big Joe Mufferaw was a French Canadian folk hero from the Ottawa Valley, perhaps best known today as the hero of a song by Stompin' Tom Connors. Like Paul Bunyan, he made his living chopping down trees. The name is also sometimes spelled Muffero, Muffera, and Montferrand. The last spelling is more common among francophones; anglophones who had trouble with it used one of the other spellings.
In addition to being the subject of many Paul Bunyan-esque tall tales, Mufferaw is sometimes enlisted as a defender of oppressed French Canadian loggers in the days when their bosses were English and their rivals for work were Irish. In one story, Big Joe was in a Montreal bar, where a British army major named Jones was freely insulting French Canadians. After Big Joe beat the major, he bellowed, "Any more insults for the Canadians?"
Some Mufferaw tales take place in the United States.
A real strongman, a logger in the Ottawa Valley timber trade by the name of Joseph Montferrand lived from 1802 to 1864. French Canadian writer Benjamin Sulte told this man's story in a 1975 book. He also is the subject of a chapter in Joan Finnegan's 1981 book Giants of the Ottawa Valley and her 1983 book Look! The Land is Growing Giants. Bernie Bedore of Arnprior also wrote several books recounting Joe's adventures.
A statue of Joe Mufferaw was erected outside of the Mattawa Museum in Mattawa, Ontario, during the spring of 2005. It was carved by local carving artist Peter Cianafrani, and was his last statue before he died later in the spring. A plaque commemorating his name sits at the base of the statue.

And then ya got yer Paul Bunyan.

One legend says that at the mouth of the river in the Two Mountains area near Saint-Eustache, Quebec, loggers stormed into battle against the British, among them a fierce and bearded giant named Paul Bonjean, monikered as "Bonyenne". (Another series of related legends are based on the feats of an actual man having lived in logging camps in the Ottawa Valley named Big Joe Mufferaw or Jos. Montferrand.) Defender of the people, the popular hero's legends moved up-river from shanty ("chantier" in French) to shanty. His name was anglicised and stories were eventually modified and added upon from storyteller to storyteller. He was also 7'9 which is over average for a normal human.

Bunyan's birth was somewhat unusual, as are the births of many mythic heroes, as it took five storks to carry the infant (ordinarily, one stork could carry several babies and drop them off at their parents' homes). When he was old enough to clap and laugh, the vibration broke every window in the house. When he was seven months old, he sawed the legs off his parents' bed in the middle of the night.[12] Paul and Babe the Blue Ox, his companion, dug the Grand Canyon when he dragged his axe behind him. He created Mount Hood by piling rocks on top of his campfire to put it out.

Babe the Blue Ox, Bunyan's companion, was a massive creature with exceptional strength.[13] Most imagery of Bunyan shows Babe the Blue Ox as being of proportionate size (meaning massive compared to typical oxen). Among other subjects, a myth about the formation of Great Lakes was centered around Babe: Paul Bunyan needed to create a watering hole large enough for Babe to drink from.[9] There are also stories telling that the 10,000 Lakes of Minnesota were formed from the footprints of Paul and Babe while they wandered blindly in a deep blizzard. Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett were said to give Babe to Paul Bunyan, because they were all "woodsey" pioneer types. Paul Bunyan has dozens of towns vying to be considered his home. Several authors, including James Stevens and D. Laurence Rogers, have traced the tales to the exploits of French-Canadian lumberjack Fabian "Saginaw Joe" Fournier, 1845–1875. Fournier worked for the H. M. Loud Company in the Grayling, Michigan area, 1865–1875, where MacGillivray later worked and apparently picked up the stories.
The state of Michigan declared Oscoda, Michigan as the official home of Paul Bunyan because it had the earliest documented published stories by MacGillivray. Other towns such as Bemidji, Brainerd, Shelton, and Westwood; Bay City; Wahoo; Eau Claire; and even Bangor also claim the title.
Kelliher, Minnesota is the home of Paul Bunyan Memorial Park, which contains a site purporting to be Paul Bunyan's grave. Another legend claims that Rib Mountain in Wausau, Wisconsin, is Bunyan's grave site.

Mike Fink, another unsung hero and manly man.

Mike Fink was born at Fort Pitt in present-day Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and served as an Indian scout in his teens. Even as a teen, he was an unbeatable marksman, and he earned the name "Bangall" among militiamen at Fort Pitt. When the Indian wars of the region ended in the early 1790s, Fink, like many other scouts, spurned a sedentary life as a farmer. Instead, he drifted into the transport business on the Ohio and Mississippi—and quickly picked up a new nickname: "the Snapping Turtle."
When he began his career in navigation, he became notorious, both for his practical jokes, and for his willingness to fight anyone who was not amused. His 180-pound frame stretched 6'3″ in height,[2] and the muscles required to force a keelboat upstream would have made him a formidable opponent to most.[3] It was said that he could drink a gallon of whisky and still shoot the tail off a pig at 90 paces; and Fink himself proclaimed on every possible occasion that he could "out-run, out-hop, out-jump, throw-down, drag out, and lick any man in the country."[1]

Huh? You still don't know who Mike Fink is? He'll tell you.

Uncle Bud is a Cajun manly man but he is for another time, another story.

TANSTAAFL

What with all this high finance money moving dog-and-pony-show going on I got to thinking about money. Not the trillions. To paraphrase Joe Stalin: "one dollar in debt is a tragedy, one trillion is a statistic". No, I got to thinking about my mortgage payment; I have to pay the guy 40 bucks to fix my lawn mower; cost of food; cost of ammo; buy a new pair of jeans, that sort of money. Down on the level where I live. Within my perimeter so to speak.

Interesting to see all the thievery going on. Stealing copper wire, manhole covers, the metal doors on the rest stop bath stalls, tires and wheels from parking lots, etc. I figure the people that are on the dole will get their money (what they deserve y'see) one way or another. Those of us that have jobs, pay taxes, so on, we will be supporting these parasites by giving them welfare checks every month or subsidizing them through their theft of our assets.

And this is before any food shortages, power outages, breakdown of infrastructure. When the lights go out, the gas pumps run dry, Sam's Club runs out of food, things will get a bit more nasty. Look at how people acted when Hurricane Sandy hit the shores. Recipes for bbq dog surfaced.

My understanding of economics is pretty basic:

Are there any questions about that?

LOW TWELVE

I usta work some night shifts at my job. 6PM to 6AM. Sometimes referred to as "graveyard shift". I was outdoors a lot, any kind of weather. Lots of stars, the moon doing her dance across the sky, solitude except for the rumble of heavy equipment moving tons of earth just over the hill, like prehistoric creatures I didn't wanna be near. The cave guys, no wonder they worshipped fire. Keep the dark away. For me, round about 3AM is the depth of my experience, but that's not as handy to sing about as midnight.

There's something about midnight. Some facts, a lot of superstition, certainly romantic notions. Love affairs, evil deeds, plots and schemes and things cloaked in darkness.

The Blues come callin', carry your mind away. That is true, trust me.

Now, you know this ruffian is up to no good:

Hark! The midnight bell tolls the hour of meeting. Oh, God, It does seem that the very stars do weep tonight.

Must I bear this burden all alone? But – no, my companions come.

12 times! The iron tongue of time tolls the midnight hour, and I must away to meet my companions.

A time for love. Not the Ozzie and Harriet kind, uh uh. The dark-end-of-the-street kind.

Wicked guitars

I stuck this one in just because it is so cool.

A NECESSARY INGREDIENT

Faith is essential.

Belief in a Supreme Being has been a part of all civilizations. Societies need spiritual and moral guidelines to keep things orderly and to keep passions within due bounds. How do you think we got this far? Luck? Coincidence? Random events?

Don't have to go to church, don't need to send money to some shirttail evangelist, don't even have to be Christian. Many spiritual disciplines in the world, only thing in common a belief in a Supreme Being. With that comes the moral guidelines.

I was near death a year and a half ago and no matter how I thought or felt it was dark and lonely and scary. Will power and mental discipline could not pull me through. The doctors were keeping me alive, or I should say they were keeping my body alive. My soul was drifting, I almost lost sight of shore a few times; it was my faith that kept me from going under. A lot of friends and family prayed for me. I finally came to the surface, was surrounded by light and filled with hope when some good Christians visited and prayed with me.

Psalm 40:1-11

40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry.

40:2 He drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.

40:3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.

No man, especially a Freemason, should ever engage in any great or important undertaking without first invoking the aid and blessing of Deity.

M: In whom do you put your trust?

C: In God.

M: Your trust being in God, your faith is well founded.

so mote it be

SEASONS of SOCIETIES

The more things change the more they stay the same. We're talkin' about humans here, clever apes.

This one I picked up on the internet but I have a credit.

No Society is Static – The Seasons of Civilization by John McDonald

Patterns rule the world around us, recognizing these is part of what allows humanity to master science & nature.  One set of patterns we’ve been slow to recognize are the ones that guide our own behavior as a society.
If history proves anything, it is that no civilization, state, or community can remain static indefinitely. What is particularly interesting to me as a student of history and government, is exactly how predictable this cycle of civilization is and how regularly it unfolds across the span of a human life.

The Seasons of Society

Each season lasts about 20 years – exact duration depends on factors like war, climate, and technological advancement.  The general structure of the cycle stays strangely consistent. One full revolution is roughly equal to 80 years or slightly longer than an average lifespan.

High (Spring:  1945-1966) -
A society reaches a high in the decades after a crisis is completely resolved. Institutions are new and recently designed to cope ultra modern concerns.  Government works like it is supposed to.  Wealth is growing but the memories of recent financial crises cause people to invest conservatively and look down on excessive materialism.  If a society fails to solve the issues that caused the prior crisis, the high can instead be an “Austerity” with widespread poverty and especially hard work left to be done.

Social Awakening (Summer:  1966-1982)
Wealth and relative stability allow a greater exploration of spirituality, artistic expression, and philosophy.  While a vocal minority may find faults in “the system,” that system is still providing enough prosperity that few if any structural changes go through.  In America’s history, social Awakenings are led by young Prophet generations & these periods coincide with the “Great Awakenings” (powerful religious revivals.)  The last American Awakening was somewhat unique in the amount of attention hippies brought to liberal and secular values.

Unraveling (Autumn:  1913-1929, 1982-2005)
In an unraveling, prosperity gives way to corruption.  Institutions begin to show signs of irrelevancy and an inability to solve newer problems, spiritual progress falls victim to dogmatism, witch hunts, and culture wars.  Serious financial problems tend to go unaddressed, but much distortion of reality is done to boost confidence in a failing system.   In the roaring 20s and high-speed 90s, the rich got richer while the poor had enough access to credit that they could feel rich, too.

Crisis (Winter:  1929-1945, 2008?-2025?)
When the institutions have failed repeatedly to protect society from new threats, the illusions of stability and prosperity ultimately collapse and usher in an era of prolonged crisis.  Debt comes due and economies can suddenly spiral out of control.  In America, these phases of crisis have resulted in a Revolution, a Civil War, a New Deal, and our incredible response to World War II.  While the period is marked by a lack of material wealth and stability, they are also times of rapid change and progress toward establishing institutions capable of resolving modern threats & injustices.

MAKE IT MELLOW NOW

No politics, no religion, just some of the music I like.

While everybody was listening to acid rock and Stones and Beatles I was listening to this music.

Back when Motown meant something. Made in Detroit. Phil Spector was also a huge influence on soul music.

.
